Seattle
Brothers and friends of music,
Working around the busy schedules of the young musicians whom we honor as the principal players of the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, this year our small lodge‘s form of a scholarship program will be on Sunday evening, January 24th at 5:30 p.m. in the University Masonic Center – 4338 University Way N.E. across the street from the Varsity Theater. We will celebrate 30 Years since the first dinner so please join us.
Included is a reservation form to the event. Dinner seating is limited so please reserve your spot NOW. We promise an excellent meal for only $25.00. Please bring your ticket to the event. You may reserve and pay for the event online at www.daylightmasons.org. Or, mail your payment to 3952 Evanston North – Seattle, WA 98103-7709.
Masonry has many scholarship programs; we continue think that after thirty years years ours is still rather unique. We would like to have you be with us in this effort to salute a group of outstandingly hard working but under recognized students. We hope to hear much from them in the future. We welcome not just Masons, but all friends of music to join us as we honor these orchestra leaders.
This program, always an exciting and major project for our small lodge, has always been pretty much self-supporting, the cost being covered by the dinner and the other donations we‘ve received. Masons who attend should be prepared to host of one of the young musicians.
So we invite you to join us for a different kind of Masonic scholarship evening and a 30 year celebration.. Reservations are a must because the event has grown in attendance each year and space is limited.
Sincerely yours,
Franklin Donahoe, Senior Warden & Dinner Chairman
